2024 Rewind
In 2024, Smart Denture Conversions rebranded as Smart On X, launched the Rapid Arches product line, expanded into Canada, and introduced new products. We also provided updates on its patent infringement action against Straumann USA. Looking ahead, we anticipate significant developments in 2025.
SDC Patent Infringement Update
Earlier this year, Smart Denture Conversions filed a lawsuit against Straumann USA for infringing U.S. Patent No. 11,937,992. On December 12, 2024, the Court upheld the patent’s validity and denied Straumann’s motion to dismiss. The case proceeds, with a pretrial conference set for January 31, 2025.
SDC in Canada
We are excited to announce that our Smart Denture Conversions product line is now available for purchase in Canada. The entire Smart Denture Conversions line has been approved for use in Canada, with the exception of prosthetic screws, which are still pending approval.
