The Direct Separable Fastener is the key component of the SimpleTemp family, a next-generation system for simplifying screw-retained provisional restorations. Built around Smart On X’s proprietary Separable Fastener technology, SimpleTemp provisionals are stronger, faster, and predictably retrievable.

During pickup, the Direct Separable Fastener connects without requiring large access holes, preserving the strength and esthetics of the restoration. Once the material sets, the provisional is removed with the fastener head, leaving the threaded post in place. A small screw channel is then created, and the provisional is secured with a prosthetic screw. The result is a strong, esthetic, and retrievable restoration — completed in a fraction of the time compared to conventional methods.
